  we are in love with this neko (cat in japanese), satsuma-tsuge boxwood hairbrush from chidoriya! it is said, that in the ibusuki region in japan, when a girl is born a boxwood tree is planted. the tree and the girl grow up together, and later when she gets married, combs and furniture are made out of the tree which she takes with her to her new home.
